We support missions and missionaries in their efforts to bring the Word of the Lord where God calls.

Samantha McKinney
Executive DIrector
Samantha McKinney gave her life to Christ at the age of 12 and has been serving her Lord ever since. God has called Samantha to serve Him with all her heart, mind, and strength through serving in various ministry, outreach, and service opportunities. Samantha continues to serve and remains an active member in her local church, having served in the Children's ministry and the Audio/Visual Committee. In 2016, God gave Samantha the vision of Christian Community Center, and He has been preparing her to fully build the organization as He sees fit. As part of this preparation , God allowed Samantha to pursue and receive her MBA in Nonprofit management from Lenoir Rhyne University in 2019. Samantha desires nothing more than to be in the perfect will of God in all that she does - whether it's ministry, vocational work, family life, or community service. Samantha praises God for her husband, partner, and best friend of nearly 10 years, Mark Mckinney.
Sandra Nelson

Sandra Nelson heard the call to follow Jesus as a young child when she was introduced to her Savior through an urban missionary who brought the Word to the neighborhood children on Sundays. As a child, Sandra served in the choir during her youth and teen years, looking forward to going to church and singing praises to her Lord participating in Sunday worship service. As an adult, Sandra still serves in her local church as Deaconess within the congregation and a member of the Prison Ministry. To this day, Sandra continues to desire to serve her Lord using the gifts and talents God has given her and proposed to do His ordained “good works” to His Glory. Sandra has a special love for missions and outreach, and kingdom building, and wants to spend her latter days pursuing Him with all her heart, strength, and mind.
Arvin Nelson
Vice Chair
Arvin Nelson accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior at the age of nine and has been following the Lord ever since. Arvin has served within his local church in various roles and capacities, and currently serves as Deacon within his local congregation, while also serving on the Security Ministry. Arvin loves reading God's word and continually listens to various lessons and sermons to learn and better understand God's message. In 2016, Arvin graduated from the Antioch Bible Institute (an intensive Biblical study created by Antioch Baptist Church in Fairfax Station) with a deeper appreciation and understanding of God's word - he has been growing deeper in God's word and light ever since. Arvin has been married to his wife and Board Chair, Sandra Nelson for over 40 good years. Together, God has pleased them with a son - David, a daughter and Executive Director- Samantha, a son-in-law - Mark, daughter-in-law - Victoria, and a grandson - Lucas.
